What is unique is that instead of just working on random letters or words, the exercises use the Dolch Sight Word lists for the corresponding for the corresponding grade level. Many of the Dolch words are ones that cannot be easily sounded out phonetically therefore requiring students to memorize them. These apps truly offer a “two birds with one stone” benefit. They can either be used to practice handwriting or as a literacy development tool. Either way, student benefit from both aspects of the apps.
