Resources for teachers, by teachers

Reading comes to life with interactive eBooks using the Storia app by Scholastic. Get five free books just for downloading the app. It's easy, just download and install the Storia app, launch, sign in and read.

Teachers like that they get five free books and that they can use their Scholastic bonus points to buy eBooks. But what teachers really like about Storia, is the built-in book manager. Books can be assigned to students and the Storia Reading Manager can be used to keep track of reading progress. Find out what eBooks each child is reading and how long he is spending on each title. Since Reading Manager requires a password the information is secure.

The Storia eBooks are high quality books with a built-in dictionary and interactive learning activities to help build comprehension and reading retention. There are image games and word puzzles, quizzes and exclusive author interviews.

The Storia app features a notes feature so that the child can take notes or highlight what she has read. It has a read aloud feature so that the student can also listen to the book.

Check out Storia for your classroom. I think you'll be glad you did.
