Resources for teachers, by teachers

So you’ve been using your Xperia to capture all of the great learning that has been going on in your classroom, but after the moment has passed, those pictures have a tendency to just pile up and sit unused on your device instead of being organized and enjoyed. Ideally, there would be an easy way to organize photos quickly into albums that can be flipped through on your Xperia at your leisure. Perhaps you would have a photo album for each class you teach, or a photo album that would organize all of the photos from a special event. You might even want an album of favorite memories from throughout each school year.

One great solution to this problem is the Million Moments app for Android devices. Here is a quick introduction to the concept:

The Million Moments app works really well with the Xperia tablet. It allows you to create up to 16 albums into which you can import the pictures from your various photography apps, your camera, and from Facebook. You can also take pictures from within the Magic Moments app. Each album is automatically assembled into nice-looking pages that can be flipped through like a book. Each time you open an album, the pages will be laid-out differently, making each album experience unique. If there is an album page that you particularly like, you can share that page as a collage image to Facebook, Twitter, Picasa, and a long list of other apps on your Xperia tablet.

The Million Moments app is a quick and easy way to organize and show off the memories you’ve stored on your Android tablet or phone. So the next time you have visitors to your classroom, parent-teacher conferences, Open House, or just want to reminisce with your students, consider sharing a Million Moments album, and let the pictures tell the story of your classroom.
